Husband. Dad. Age 53 runner. Marathon Maniac #3487. Qualified for 2013 Boston Marathon. The journey began in 2007 as a walk/jog for fitness. Then, it continued with my first marathon at New Orleans in 2010. After qualifying for Boston in late 2011, my hope is to make it through the registration process during September 2012 and actually run the Boston Marathon in April 2013.

Not a Maniac

A medical issue knocked me out of commission since last Wednesday. Missed my marathon Sunday (was to be my Marathon Maniac final run as some know). I am out of that maniac hunt for sure (and good riddance). Be back out there in a day or so....another marathon in less than 5 weeks. Not sure where my running is, but I will find out soon.

  1. Sorry to hear that. I had Maniac qualification on my radar too, but being injured, I don't know If I can do it now.
